You can schedule new sessions from LiveNote Stream, LiveNote Central, or click here to schedule a session. If you need to update or cancel a session that includes video streaming, you must do so no less than 24 hours prior to the session by calling 1-800-290-9378 or emailing westlaw.softwaresupport@thomsonreuters.com.
Note: In order to broadcast video to LiveNote Stream, you must use a video encoder device. For more information, see Broadcasting Video to LiveNote Stream.
To schedule a session, do one of the following:
If you do not have a LiveNote Central account, you can request one by emailing Customer Technical Support at westlaw.softwaresupport@thomsonreuters.com. Click Schedule a Session Today on the LiveNote Stream login page, then click the Send technical support an email to get one link to open a new email message.
Contact Information: The contact information for the person responsible for scheduling the session. Select the Save Contact Information check box to retain this information for reuse with future sessions.
Event Details: If you require video streaming, click Yes next to Video Streaming? to display the following boxes:
- Videographer Name, Videographer Email, Videographer Phone: The contact information for the person responsible for setting up the video stream.
- IT Onsite Contact, IT Onsite Phone: The contact information for the person responsible for IT at the deposition site.
- Previous Depositions Held at Site: Click Yes or No.
Attendees: For each participant, select or clear the Transcript and Video check boxes to assign or remove access to the realtime transcript and/or video stream. To assign permission to use Chat, select a group from the Chat Group list. Participants may only exchange messages with other members of their group.
After you finish adding participants, click Submit to schedule the session. You will receive a confirmation email once your request has been processed (within one business day). If the session includes video streaming, the confirmation email includes the video server IP address, video LN number and other credentials for your session. This information is required in order to broadcast video to LiveNote Stream and must be provided to the videographer prior to the day of the session.
